Kembara Ilmu ke PNU & Program Korban Perdana ke Pattani, Thailand

On 19th until 23th August 2018, Kelab Pertubuhan Kebajikan Islam Malaysia UniKL MIIT (PERKIM UniKL MIIT) collaboration with Student Representative Committee 2018/2019, University of Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) Malaysian Institute of Information Technology and the Princess of Naradhiwas University held a program called Program Kembara Ilmu to Princess of Naradhiwas University, Thailand. Total of students were 27 students, representing 9 students from Student Representative Committee 2018/2019, and 18 students from PERKIM UniKL MIIT were accompanied by seven UniKL officers including Deputy Dean SDCL UniKL MIIT, Dr Megat Farez Azril Bin Zuhairi.
A visit to Princess of Naradhiwast University (PNU) was to share the knowledge among the two universities related to academic, sport, students affair, and many more. Apart from that, students were also exposed into the culture that were not much different compared to Malaysian culture.
Next, a visit to Pusat Didikan Anak Yatim & Para Muhtajin Mujammaruljinan. The program started with Language workshop which includes, Malay, English and Korean language. The facilitators taught the basic language to expose the students to multiple language. At the end of the workshop they were able to reply questions in the language that have been taught.
On 22th August 2018, It is Hari Raya Aidil Adha also called Hari Raya Korban, is the second of two religious holidays celebrated by Muslims worldwide each year. The sacrifice ritual begins by facing the animal to be sacrificed in the direction of the Kabaa and uttering a prayer. The jugular vein at the animal’s throat is then slit quickly to ensure a quick death, usually within a minute. The animal is then cleaned and its meat carved up for distribution.
