Course Overview This course covers the fundamentals of object oriented concept and applying the concept in developing the graphical user interface (GUI), thread and networking. It will integrate the File and exception.
Course Objective After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • ¬†Define the features of OO language: class, methods, encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism and the use of UML as a tool in building OO programs.
  • Design the interface using OO GUI components and its associated event handlers.
  • Extend the functionalities of the program by implementing OO I/O operations to write/read from/to files.
  • Evaluate the applications of exception handling and multi-threading in creating versatile, robust and dynamic OO programs.

Demonstrate a complete program that incorporates TCP/IP networking and other OO technologies.
