Programme Description

Foundation in Science and Technology for Korean University or also known as the Pre-Korean Programme prepares students to continue the degree programme at any Korean universities after completing their foundation study at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (UniKL MIIT).

Entry Requirements

  • Pass SPM / SPMV with at least credits in five (5) subjects;
  • Pass the O-Level with at least a C grade in five (5) subjects;
  • Other equivalent qualifications.
  • Eligibility for Basic Foundation (s) areas of specialization, such as medicine, engineering and student accounting requires additional subject credit (for example Mathematics, Additional Mathematics and Science) at the level SPM / SPMV / O-Level or equivalent subject to the needs of the field offered.

*Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) is a written test designed to measure the ability of non-native Korean speakers and overseas Koreans for expression and comprehension of Korean Language. TOPIK is administered by the National Institute for International Education – NIIED.

PLO4 Adapt to the environmental changes for them to pursue their tertiary education in Korea
PLO5 Practice effective information retrievals that involve the efforts of independent learning in acquiring skills and new knowledge
