Course Overview The rising popularity and affection of Korean tv programme and drama among Malaysian viewers initiate a high demand towards the learning on Korean culture and language. In view of the above, Technical Foundation Section would like to propose School Break Korean Class to primary and secondary school’s students especially to UniKL staff’s children. This class will be one of the part of many initiatives to establish Korean Language Centre at UniKL MIIT. We will use Ewha Language Centre, Ewha Womans University syllabuses as reference.
Course Objective The objectives of the course:

  • To establish and promote Korean Language Centre in Malaysia at UniKL MIIT
  • To encourage students to spend their holiday with something beneficial.
  • To meet the public demand who wish to learn the language as this group of people are known to be fanatic viewer of Korean tv programme and dramas.
Target Audience This class is suitable for all individuals especially students who wish to learn the basic Korean Language and culture. Students will be taught to write and read in Hangeul (Korean alphabet) and basic conversations in Korean.
Course Outline  

  • The course will be conducted in 5 days. 5 hours daily, starting from 30 May 2016 until 3 june 2016 at UniKL Malaysian Institute of Information Technology ( UniKL MIIT )
  • Korean class will teach by 100% Korean native speakers/ experienced lecturer
  • The course will be divided into Two ( 2 ) modules;

Ø  Hangeul (Korean Alphabet)


Ø  Basic conversations-Greeting, ordering food,call and daily conversations.


Students will attain certificate of attendance by UniKL MIIT after completing each module.
